Compliance approach
Program controls are being designed and reviewed; no live financial service is currently offered.
Current status
The Payenx commercial card program and its compliance operations are still being developed and reviewed. This page describes a planned approach, not a live financial service, license, issuing capability, or banking relationship.
Planned business and identity verification
The program is intended only for verified US businesses and is expected to collect and verify required information about the business, beneficial owners, representatives, and authorized card users in accordance with provider requirements.
- Risk-based business and ownership verification requirements
- Verification of representatives and authorized card users
- Updates when verification information expires or changes
- No real verification documents accepted through the public preview before approval
Planned operational controls
Before launch, Payenx plans to document responsibilities with approved providers and establish controls proportionate to the program's risks.
- Business-purpose, merchant, amount, and time controls
- Transaction monitoring, exception escalation, and appropriate restrictions
- Complaint, dispute, refund, and incident-response processes
- Recordkeeping, access controls, and operational review
Excluded use cases
Consumer cards, personal spending, consumer stored value, credit-card top-ups, peer-to-peer payments, cash withdrawal, lending, and crypto activity are outside the planned scope. Any live capability will be governed by final agreements, disclosures, and provider approval.
